If you haven’t started using baths as a weekly self-care ritual, you’re missing out. Bath time equals me time. I love soaking in the warm water and feeling my sore muscles relax and the worries of the world melt away. One of my favorite things to do is change up what I put in my bath each week–I love experimenting with different essential oils and adding fresh ingredients to my bath water.
One of my favorite bath concoctions is this simple, yet soothing detox bath. It only requires 3 ingredients but the effects are oh so good!
What you need:
- 1 c. Epsom salt
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
- 1/2 c. baking soda
While the bath water is drawing, add the above ingredients. Soak for at least 20 minutes, once a week.
