A Yummy, Immune Boosting Smoothie

With the introduction of COVID-19, social distancing, quarantining and all that other stuff, now more than ever it’s so important to eat clean to give our immune system the best fighting chance. When you feed your body the nutrients it needs, it’s like putting the premium gas in your car–it runs much more efficiently. This smoothie is full of all kinds of healthy goodness including local honey which helps combat allergies. Best part is, even the kiddos will guzzle it down!

  • 1/2 c. plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp. local honey
  • 1 c. spinach
  • 1 c. frozen mango chunks
  • 1 c. frozen mixed berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 c. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until well blended. Recipe makes 2 servings.
